James Lloyd Carr

James Lloyd Carr (1912-1994) romanziere ed editore, è stato ufficiale nella raf, preside e antiquario. Oltre a Come gli S.S. Wanderers vinsero la Coppa d’Inghilterra (Fazi, 2008), tra i suoi romanzi ricordiamo anche A Day in Summer; A Season in Sinji, The Harpole Report, What Hetty Did e Harpole & Foxberrow, General Publishers. Con Un mese in campagna e The Battle of Pollocks Crossing (1985) Carr è stato finalista del Booker Prize.
